Fully Self Contained Show

Doc Grayson's Olde Tyme Traveling Medicine Show is fully self contained. We supply complete Staging, Sound and Lighting to run our show. Our show is computer controlled with professional music and sound effects to make a dramatic and fun presentation. When we arrive for setup, just show us the show area and where the electrical service is and we will take care of the rest. We know you are busy during the festival and we strive to keep your stress level to 0 when it comes to our show. We believe the last real thought you should have to have about our show is when you make the decision to have us at your event.

Keeping Your Attendees At Your Event

A successful event isn't determined just by the number of visitors the event receives but how long you can keep them there. Happy faces in the crowd mean less trouble for you and happier vendors too. The longer people stay at your event the more they are likely to spend. How to keep them around is always the tough question to answer. You can have your entertainment do more shows during the event. Repeating the same show over and over just won't do it either. We have modularized our show so that we can do a different show at each appearance. Some of the show will be the same but we are able to take a segment out and replace it with another. This will give the festival goers a reason to come back and more importantly a reason to stay around.

Promoting The Show

To help your committee in promoting our show, we have artwork available that we can provide already made up with your event details to distribute through the schools. We have several different activity sheets that provide fun for the children while at the same time promoting our appearance at your event. They can also be distributed through daycares and other businesses that show interest. Approximately three weeks prior to the event, press releases and promotion are sent out to the various Newspaper, Radio and TV media in the surrounding areas. This is to promote our shows appearance at your festival and to help get extra coverage for your event. We know that our success at promoting our show will add to the success of the event itself. We do this at no cost to the festival or committee. We know that if your event is successful it will continue to be around next year so we will have a place to return to.

We work hard to ensure the safety of those who participate in our show and those who interact with our show area. However, there are times that no matter how much effort you put forth, something unexpected happens. This is why we make sure to take the necessary liability responsibilities into account. We maintain more than adequate coverage to protect ourselves and those whom we contract to perform for.
